Starting the preparation

In the week beginning 1st of august, we are planning to cycle from where we live in The Hague (The Netherlands) to Brussels (Belgium) with one of our friends Charlie Nourse. We have planned to cycle there in a day and cycle back in a day. It should not be too difficult to achieve, being around 175 km. To achieve this we shall also do a mini-preparation cycle beforehand from The Hague along the coast for 60km and then back again to prepare ourselves for two 175 km days.
